Everyone who has been to this blog knows that it’s pretty homespun. We don’t have e-retailing, we don’t have tons of images of bikes on here, or places to ride or heck, lot’s of stuff. Almost all of our growth is through word of mouth. We love our customers, they love us back, and sometimes write about it on Yelp or Google reviews. We’re proud of our high ranking online, and we know online reviews are a major factor in people trying our shop for the first time. I’ve been dealing with B/D for a while now and have also been happy and impressed with their selection and experience .This year I decided I wanted to give tt’s a try so I went and talked with Brian and was very happy I did, as I purchased a new speed concept. Long story short as this is a honest review. I had some fit issues which they were happy to make right. But along the way my bike I had a slight problem with an accident and Brian and the team went over and above to see to it my problem was fix with no outta pocket expenses on my part. Selling great brands and having a great selection is good but what matters to me the most at the end of the day is how a shop takes care of the costumers and treats them. This is the type of service you get with B/D…..Excellence!! That’s why I will continue to buy and support this shop.
I have to say that this bike shop is the best in DC Area when it comes to the selection of bikes, but where they really shine is the unmatched service they provide. I have visited over 23 bike shop in DC area and this one is the best. I decided to start biking this year and Brian and his staff could not be more helpful when I needed help deciding on what bike to get. They always found time to explain all the different options of the bike, guide you to the bike you really need, they did not push any product on you. They just simply help you to make the decision on your own with the info they provided. We started a biking group in DC (14 members) and most of the members drive from DC and N.Virginia to seek their advice and purchase their wheels. This bike shop really stands behind their product; they are there to help you all the way, no matter what the issue is. I highly recommend this bike shop to anybody who needs honest opinion/guide when it comes to bikes. I am customer for life with this bike shop, they promote a true vision of customer service.
